  • Roofing: In addition to the danger of a fall, there’s also the risk that you’ll improperly install some flashing or miss a layer of water proofing and end up with a leak and major cleanup.

  • Drywall mudding: It looks easy until you try it. Then you realize it’s as much of an art as it is a skill.

  • Load bearing structural changes: Do you really want to find out that you can’t move that wall the hard way?
