There was no sheet rock on the inside so there was plenty of room for the foam to expand. Looks like I will have to dig a lot of it out so it can close.

That is, it’s real hardwood on the top layer, but the lower layers are plywood or HDF.

Laminate has a printed surface, which is essentially 0 thickness.

However when faced with short , stubbie piece of conductor in a Jbox these push on splicers can be a big help. I think the manufactures should improve their product to address oxidation and arching. Maybe by putting inside anti oxidation paste. Also what about twisting conductors together then push on connector??

What is the connection between Voltage of the battery (12V, 16V, 20V), the RPM of the drill/driver and the number of “gears” of the clutch. I started with this when I was between two black & decker drill/drivers cordless. One was: 20V, 600RMP, 12 gears, plus light but this is another subjective thing. = $49.90 Other: 12V, 750RMP, 22 gears, no light = $29.90 give or take.

Which one would be “stronger”?????, 22 gears sounds a lot more than 12, but maybe 12 gears with 20V are equal or even more.., i don’t know; and how the RPM comes into the play???

Does anyone knows about this? Just because it is interesting. thank you.

I have a Noritz N-0751M tankless gas water heater. When I turn the hot water faucet in the kitchen on and off I get loud banging in the pipes. I installed an arrestor in the kitchen, but the banging is still there. Someone suggested to install a thermal expansion tank. I have been searching the Web for installation instructions with tankless water heaters, but found nothing! On what side does the tank have to be installed: cold or hot side? Any help is appreciated.

The pressure reducing valve started leaking and a plumber came out and replaced it. Initially the leaking stopped but it started leaking again several hours after he left. He came back a second and third time replacing the expansion tank and backflow preventer only to have the problem resurface within a day.

He says it is due to the pressure building up which is either due to the hot water tank putting back pressure to the system or one of the components he replaced is defective.

I have used this plumber before and never had reason to question his work but I feel he is just guessing now and it is getting expensive. Any guidance is appreciated.

I lengthened the trap about 1/2″ down to make it a little deeper. It reduced the odor somewhat. Your explanation above does not seem to work for me. Our trap install looks like the “proper” example you picture. Any suggestions?
